The Griesbach-Hallenstein-Foundation has declared as its goal to support the academic youth in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Switzerland. The foundation was created in remembrance of Walter Edwin Griesbach, who was held in high esteem by former students from Hamburg to Dunedin for his altruistic support of the next academic generation.

Without support and donations, research activities are not possible alongside an extensive clinical training. This is where our foundation would like to help, and support suitable candidates, who are deemed worthy of assistance by their superiors, in their research endeavors in Switzerland.

Particularly, established practicing physician colleagues are called upon to become financially engaged in the foundation, in order to help young rising academics.

The Griesbach-Hallenstein-Foundation is an independent foundation, exempt from tax obligations, under the roof of the Fondation des Fondateurs. Donations are tax deductible in the framework of the respective tax laws. For donations, the Fondation des Fondateurs issues a donation receipt.
